So I paired this flowy top and super cute clutch with my high rise distressed shorts that have been on repeat so much lately thanks to hot weather and Jack's baseball practices. Which by the way, I had announced a while back that we were trying out football but his Daddy and I have since then taken him out of that because he was the youngest on the team by two years. Although Jack is mature and super smart for his age, there was just such a maturity difference in the ages and I just felt like he wasn't ready. He also was talking about how much he missed baseball so we signed him up for fall baseball and everybody wins! Sorry for the little life update there. Maybe football can happen next year, at least I hope because it's my favorite sport! Also, he will be 5 next May and as y'all know, I'm the worlds biggest planner / OCD person ever. His Daddy and I have gone back and forth about when to start Jack in school and we've decided we're gonna wait a year on that as well. Come August 2019, we will have a kindergartner on our hands but until then, I'm gonna soak up all his lovin' and help around the house that I can! Next decision to make is what school we will send him to. His Daddy and I def don't see eye to eye on that, ha!
Back to the outfit now, I had blogged a while back about these amazing slides that I purchased in the Amazon sale and I seriously can't get enough of them! It's like I'm so torn when it comes to colder weather with shoes because I do love a good slide or wedge BUT do I really love maintaining a good pedi each week?
